2. Grantor and Grantee names are entered in the
form shown by the example: "SMITH JOHN"
(no punctuation).
3. To find Grantor
or Grantee names where you are not sure if name is first or middle name, search for "SMITH%JOHN".
This will find "SMITH JOHN" and "SMITH
ROBERT JOHN".
4. Property searches
(Subdivision-Block-Lot, Abstract, Acres and Legal Description) are available
but may be incomplete.
5. Dates are entered in the form
mm/dd/yyyy.
6. Volume/Page
is posted only for documents prior to 11/22/1993.
7. For documents
prior to January 1, 2001, the Instrument Number
is posted as a running sequential number. The first Instrument Number in 1992
is 32371 and the first document in 2000 is 86706.
8. The first
Instrument Number in 2001 is 1 and this continues sequentially through 2002.
The first Instrument Number in 2003 is 1 and this continues sequentially
through 2004. The first Instrument Number in 2005 is 1 and this continues
sequentially through the current date.
9. Appraisal/Assessor data is
posted where a matching deed was found. Therefore, Appraisal field searches will not find every record
that exists for that property, only those records that match the Appraisal
data for the year or years posted.
