ALL data
entered on the search criteria screen must match for a document to be found.
2. Grantor and Grantee names are entered in the
form shown by the example: "SMITH JOHN"
(no punctuation).
3. To find Grantor
or Grantee names where you are not sure if name is first or middle name, search for "SMITH%JOHN".
This will find "SMITH JOHN" and "SMITH
ROBERT JOHN".
4. Dates are entered in the form
mm/dd/yyyy.
5. The
Instrument Number is a 11 digit number beginning with the year. For example,
20070100528 is the first document filed in 2007. The number does not reset each year
so the first document filed in 2008 is 20080101907.
6. While we do not
currently have Abstract/Acres posted, you can search the Subdivision field
for Abstracts that were filed with a block. For example, you can select "C&M
RR SECT 19" from the Subdivision list and enter "F" in the Block field to
find postings to block F of the C&M RR SECT 19 survey.
Note that these are
not complete and the Legal Description fields are not posted after
06/19/2015.
