entered on the search criteria screen must match for a document to be found.
2. Grantor and Grantee names are entered in
different forms. Therefore, the system is set up to use the "Proximity"
feature where a search for "SMITH JOHN"
will find JOHN ALAN SMITH or
SMITH JOHN.
3. For partial
names, add an asterisk at the end of the partial name. So, "SMITH
JO*" finds "JOHN SMITH" and "SMITH
JOSEPH".
4. Dates are entered in the form
mm/dd/yyyy.
5. The
Instrument Number consists of a 2-digit year prefix, a dash, plus a 5-digit
sequential number.
The sequential number is not reset when the year changes. So the last
Instrument Number in 2016 was 16-61279 and the first Instrument Number in
2017 was 17-61280.
