entered on the search criteria screen must match for a document to be found.
2. Grantor and
Grantee names are entered in the form "SMITH JOHN".
3. To find Grantor
or Grantee names where you are not sure if name is first or middle name, search for "SMITH%JOHN".
This will find "SMITH JOHN" and "SMITH
ROBERT JOHN".
4. Clerk File
Numbers are typically 6 digits with the first two digits being the year. So
the format would be 070002 would be the 2nd document files in 2007.
5. Dates are entered in the form
mm/dd/yyyy.
6. Old Austin County
Books from 1824 thru 1904 are now available. The property searches for these
old books are incomplete.
7. Documents from
03/03/1944 thru 10/20/1982 (Volumes 143 thru 462) can be found on-line by
searching Volume/Page.
8. Documents from
1908 thru 1944 (Volumes 1 thru
142) are not available on-line. Send the
Volume/Page to Countyrecords.com Support and we will email it to you, if
available.
9. We are currently
